Mill Farm House, East Bridgford
East Bridgford is one of the many areas in Nottingham where our architecture firm has completed successful projects. One of our recent undertakings involved the complete refurbishment of a house, with particular attention given to thermal upgrades.
Originally a much smaller farmhouse house, this property had been extended numerous times over the years and the house was in need of a major overhaul to create a modern family home.
The client’s brief was to remodel the house at ground and first floor to provide a light filled open plan kitchen, living, dining space that opens out to the large garden. A dormer extension was proposed to create a large home office and playroom. A series of internal alterations were proposed including relocating the stairs and main entrance to improve the flow.
