Recently, we embarked on an exciting journey with one of our clients to realize their vision of a modern extension to their beloved home in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottingham. However, as with any ambitious project, navigating the labyrinth of planning regulations and securing approval presented its own set of challenges. Today, we're thrilled to share the inspiring tale of how we overcame obstacles and achieved planning approval for our modern extension project.

Today, we're excited to share that we have achieved planning approval for two new contemporary houses in the Sutton Bonington countryside. These homes embody modern design principles, providing over 4,000 square feet of open-plan living space.

Our paragraph 80 house project in the Forest of Bowland AONB has now been prepared for a final RIBA design review panel in April. We will be presenting the scheme and hoping that the review panel agree that the design is exceptional.

Our new build contemporary villa project in Edwalton, Nottinghamshire has now been submitted for planning. The contemporary dwelling is inspired by the surrounding period properties in the conservation area. We wanted to avoid a pastiche design and we have worked closely with the conservation officer so fingers crossed we secure planning later in 2023!

We are thrilled to announce that our project in the Edwalton Conservation Area has secured planning approval.

The design of the extension is all about transparency; nature becomes an integral part of the interior. With a steel frame construction, minimal glazing and large overhang that corresponds with the existing period property, there is a harmonious meeting between old and new structures.

After a busy start to the year winning some exciting new projects and progressing into stage 4 with our existing schemes we are looking for an experienced architectural technologist or technically minded architect to work on bespoke domestic projects.

We are very pleased to announce that planning approval has been granted for our complete renovation and remodel of a detached split level bungalow in Hazelwood, Derbyshire.

Paragraph 80 (previously Paragraph 79, Paragraph 55 and PPS 7) refers to the section of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) which sets out various circumstances which can enable the erection of new isolated dwellings in the open countryside.

Our project in Mapperley Park has now been submitted for planning. The period property is in need of complete refurbishment and a series of new contemporary extensions are proposed.

Our project in Plungar, Vale of Belvoir is nearing completion with the kitchen being installed, the crittall screen and the feature limestone hearth being fitted.
